About us

Lubavich Rebbe Menahem-Mendl Shneyerson has been sent from the Soviet Russia in 1927, and since 1941, from the staff in New York, he supervised over an extensive underground network on the organization of religious services, granting of the Jewish education and delivery of the humanitarian help.

With disintegration of the Soviet system the Jewish population, the third on size, has received the right on a freedom of worship for the first time for seven decades.

Veterans of the Jewish underground - those who have remained, newly made Jewish leaders and tens rabbis Habat-Lubavich - envoys Lubavichian Rabbe have started to recreate an infrastructure of synagogues, the communal centers and schools on all territory of the former USSR which was dragged out on space of ten time zones.
